Princess Sarah Culberson, a talented actress and dancer, has had an incredible journey of self-discovery. Born in Morgantown, West Virginia, Princess Sarah was adopted by a loving white family at a young age. Growing up, Princess Sarah always felt a sense of curiosity and longing to discover her roots. She pursued her love for theatre which led her to win an undergrad acting scholarship to West Virginia University, followed by an MFA at The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.

After her mother passed away, Princess Sarah decided to search for her biological father. She was shocked to learn that he lived in Sierra Leone, West Africa and she was of royal descent. With this new-found knowledge, Princess Sarah set out to discover her roots and connect with her family.

Princess Sarah’s journey to Sierra Leone was not easy. She faced many challenges and had to overcome cultural differences. Although she was a princess, she had to adapt to her new surroundings and learn the customs of her people. Through this journey, Princess Sarah discovered her birthright, her family, and the struggles of Sierra Leone’s people following a brutal 11-year civil war.

Following her discovery, Princess Sarah has used her platform to give back to Sierra Leone. She founded the Sierra Leone Rising charity which provides education, healthcare, and economic opportunities to the country’s poorest citizens. She is an ambassador for the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, inspiring others to turn their challenges into strengths.
