The queen of Afrobeats, Tiwa Savage, in collaboration with Everything Savage and Unbound Studios, is setting the music and film world abuzz with the announcement of the “Water & Garri” soundtrack. The soundtrack, blends genres of Afropop, R&B, and Hip Hop, and is being released through EMPIRE. The project showcases an impressive lineup of featured artists including Olamide, Ayra Starr, Asa, Reekado Banks, Zacardi Cortez, Black Sherif, Young Jonn, Richard Bona, and The Cavemen.
“Water & Garri” draws its title from Tiwa Savage’s critically acclaimed 2021 EP, which was a melting pot of international collaborations featuring the likes of Nas, Amaarae, and Brandy. The soundtrack expands on this eclectic mix, further cementing Tiwa Savage’s pioneering role in global music. Be ready for both to drop in the coming weeks.
