In addition to the street renaming, E-40 received a proclamation from Vallejo mayor Robert McConnell to designate October 21, 2023, as “E-40 Day” in recognition of his contributions to the city’s culture and music scene. To top it all off, E-40 received the key to the city of Vallejo as the 2nd recipient in the city’s 173-year history. It’s clear that E-40’s legacy extends well beyond the music industry.
