Yung Texxus Kicks a Freestyle over ScHoolboy Q's "Man of the Year"

Yung Texxus has been quietly working on a few projects, but hasn’t released new music until last week when he dropped a freestyle on Soulja Boy’s “We Made It” for his #TexxusTuesday series.

This week, Mista Green is rocking the boat with a new freestyle on Schoolboy Q’s “Man of The Year”. Texx is addressing how he is seeing the game now, with some hard hitting lines like:

“You wanna leave the game/ in the hands of a nigga like Trinidad James?/ bunch a monkey ass niggas/ embarrassing us again/ I’m through wit the gimmicks & shit/ so lame /Pimp C would be ashamed.”

Texx also addresses Troy Ave’s comments about rapping on southern beats:

“Troy ave said he don’t do them down south beats/ we don’t discriminate we regulate / we bout our cheese/ assimilated New York to the down south steez”.

Yung Texxus is preparing to release his joint mixtape Drive, with producer/rapper Tekneek. He is also working on his new solo album.
