Week 7 Reminder of Why We Love College Football: Michigan St. Wins on Last Play of the Game, Stanford’s Francis Owusu Makes Catch of the Year + More!

The rivalry between #12 Michigan vs #7 Michigan St couldn’t have had a bigger stage set as the College Football playoff picture begins to take shape, both teams fighting for a trip to Glendale. One of the most evenly matched games of the day gave us everything we could’ve asked for and more.

But honestly, there are NO words that can possibly describe the way this one ended – simply watch below as Michigan St. scores on the last play of the game to win 27-23.

Sway’s Universe Play of the Week:

#15 Stanford mauled #18 UCLA 56-35 as their RB Christian McCaffrey rushed to a record setting 243 yards (with 4 TDs to match). In addition to his heroic performance, we witnessed an ESPY worthy TD catch by Francis Owusu after a reverse pass. Once again, our words do it no justice…the jaw dropping play still leaves us speechless every time we press replay. Think we’re exaggerating? Check it out yourself:

Sway’s Universe Performance of the Week:

#2 Baylor showed once again their offense is pretty much on steroids as they put up a quick 62 points on West Virginia.  To add insult to injury WR Corey Coleman put on a 3 TD performance breaking the school record for single season receiving TDs….but it’s only Week 7! For the first time in long while, we had flashbacks of Barry Sanders shaking defenders to the point of saying “even if this was flag football, he still wouldn’t be down”.
