Usher drops visual to “Chains” feat. Nas and Bibi Bourelly

Oh how we love it when Usher has a Part 2.

With today marking the first day of Black History Month, many artists are using the social status and platform to express the importance of recognizing our country’s issues so that we can correct them.

The point o f Usher’s “Chains” is to shed light on topics such as police brutality and social injustice. In a video directed by Film the Future, there are dipictions of Usher attending his own funeral while flashes of him crying in the back of a police car show throughout.

There’s so much truth in this track. We’ve gotta figure out a way to make all of this stop you guys. It starts with us.
