Unreleased Jay-Z Music Surfaced? Heard “The Black Gangster”?

“Want my old..shh…buy my old albums” – Jay hypen.

We know the music mogul Jay-Z is all about what’s next versus what was, but this rare sighting had to even put a smirk on Jigga’s face. Apparently, a vintage track which he called “The Black Gangster” was given to us in small doses around the ‘In My Lifetime, Vol. 1’ run but has made its way back into our ears for safe keeping.

Regardless of its intended use, all hip hop fans just had their day instantly improve hearing that we get some vintage 97-99 Shawn Carter. Every fan has their favorite Jay album or moment but that time period really represents him proving that he could make the transition into being a full blown superstar beyond just music.

Rewind with some unreleased Jay-Z music below. *turns throwback jersey around*
