Tyrese Debuts a Powerful Love Story In His “The Black Book” Short Film

Tyrese makes his directorial debut with his short film The Black Book.

Directed and written by Tyrese and co-starring the lovely singer/actress V. Bozeman, the film begins with an elderly couple celebrating their 45th anniversary.  The woman seems to have Alzheimer’s and her husband tries to jog her memory by recounting stories from their past, the good and the bad.  The film itself also serves as a music video for  “Can’t Break Me” featuring V. Bozeman, “Waiting on You”, and the Tank-assisted “Prior to You”.

When Tyrese premiered the film, he said he took elements from the movie The Notebook (hence the name).  This project might have my non-believers yearning for their true love after the first watch.  Check it out below and let us know what you think.
