If I sat you down right now and asked you to tell me about your Mother, I’m sure most (if not all) of you would end the conversation in tears — in realization of how much your Mother really means to you.
So today, I’m not going to do that to you. Instead, I’m going to uplift the women who are about to embark on a new journey of becoming new Mother’s. Blessings!
Last year the lovely, Jessica Alba was already one child in when she made a stop to Sway In The Morning. Jessica came to update us on why she took a break to start a family and become her own boss and how she finds a way to balance the many hats she holds; including the title as the C.E.O of “The Honest Company“. Listen to her pointers on how to manage life as a career woman and Mommy:
Scandal is getting wilder by each passing series. But let’s not forget that star, Kerry Washington is also a new mom. Kerry came through early in the morning to speak on her success — and also honed in her relationship with fellow Superwoman-friend, Ms. Michelle Obama. Listen to the pre-baby Kerry:
The beautiful, Megan Fox came to talk to Sway for the very first time to speak on her first child, sex and her film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Check out how she calls out DJ Wonder on who she thinks his favorite Ninja Turtle is based on how he stands. It’s actually pretty funny. Peep it, below:

Although he is not a Mother, our guy Ludacris is about to welcome his new baby with his beautiful new wife, Eudoxie.
Luda has been a busy man, finding time to co-star in films like “Furious 7” while somehow maintaining his 15 year plus career within the music industry. Showing a more personal side with Sway, he opened up about having to take a paternity test due to a woman he’s never even met and explains that he got married for,
“…all of the right reasons.”
Watch the Father to-be, sit-down with Sway:
Mother’s Day is coming up (this Sunday) and we need to show appreciation for the women who have given us life. For 9 months, these selfless women carried us in their bellies and let their hormone’s go through an intense roller-coaster — all for the sake of providing us our first breadth in this world. And if nothing else, thank your Mother’s for that alone.
Many times, the things we assume we will have forever in our lives — are the very things that we end up taking for granted. Unfortunately, these are usually always the most important things in our lives too.
With that being said, our relationship with our Mother’s are the most important and unique relationships we may ever have in life — and we don’t tell our Mom’s how much we love and appreciate them, as often as we should.
So for the new women whom have been blessed with the opportunity to become a Mother, remind yourself for the next 18-years, or-so — the phrase your parents had always told you growing up,
“You will never know the love of the parent until you become parents yourself.“
