Sure, there are a number of classic cars; we have seen more than a few outstanding examples. However, in the world of automobiles, it is the rarest of rides that garner the most attention. Today we get a look at quite an extraordinary machine, a 1952 Ferrari 342 America. The “America” designation has been used for Ferrari’s large, front-engined grand touring cars since 1950, and this particular model is one of the rarest. This incredible ride is one of only six 1952 342 Americas produced and is the only one that features custom coachwork from Vignale.
To add to its iconic and rare status, the ride is just one of two cabriolets, while boasting a pristine and nearly perfect design. The ride features a 200 hp Lampredi V12 developed for Ferrari’s Formula One cars, while the metallic green and white two-tone exterior and matching interior make for quite an eye-catching approach. Have a look at this stunning ride in the images below and give us your thoughts in the comments below. Stay tuned for many more classic, rare rides coming soon.
