The Weeknd & Daft Punk’s “Starboy” Video Reach 1 Billion Views On YouTube

Another day, another new accolade for The Weeknd. This man has had a hell of a year so far, which stretches back in 2016, and the good news keeps coming in. Today the word on the interwebs is that The Weeknd & Daft Punk’s “Starboy” Video Reach 1 Billion Views On YouTube. They are the latest addition to the “one billion club,” joining the likes of DJ Snake, Major Lazer, and Calvin Harris.

The video currently sits at #58 on the most-watched videos of all time list, while it also serves as Daft Punk’s first-ever song to hit 1 billion YouTube views. The track has also reached the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, gone 4x platinum in the U.S. and achieved platinum and diamond status in Canada, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Australia, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.
