The Spice Girls’ “Wannabe” Song Gets a Makeover For Women Empowerment

It’s been two decades since the Spice Girls released their hit song “Wannabe”.  Today, the song is serving a different purpose in support of charity The Global Goals’ #WhatIReallyReallyWant campaign.

Girls and women from around the world lip sync and perform a dance routine decked out in full 90s attire speaking up about violence against women, equal pay for equal work, and underage marriage.  At the end of the video, they ask to “Share a picture of #WhatIReallyReallyWant and we’ll pass it to world leaders at United Nations in September.”
