The Return of the Hometown Hero: Marshawn Lynch

Oakland’s very own, Marshawn Lynch, has come out of retirement to play for the Oakland Raiders. The 31-year-old retired last year from the Seahawks, letting the world know by posting a photograph of his hanging cleats on Twitter. His disengagement came as a surprise to the masses.

Although Lynch began his NFL career with the Buffalo Bills in 2007, he caught the attention and adoration of many fans on the Seattle Seahawks’ green. His genuine soul, witty remarks, and outrageous stunts couldn’t be ignored. He grew into more of a force than before.

Now, after a short span of speculation that the star would rejoin the league to help his hometown team go all the way, the rumors have been confirmed. Of course, fellow Oakland-native Sway would be the one to narrate the news. Click below to watch the entire video.
