Known for their iconic advancements in the world of photography, Kodak is back at it once again. This time around the news comes down that Kodak will soon be bringing back their Ektachrome Film. Back in October of 2016 Kodak rebranded itself, looking to taking things back to the better days of film. They recently announced the return of their iconic Ektachrome Film at CES, adding an old-school medium for photographers around the world.
Kodak Alaris stated “The reintroduction of one of the most iconic films is supported by the growing popularity of analog photography and a resurgence in shooting film” adding “Resurgence in the popularity of analog photography has created demand for new and old film products alike. Sales of professional photographic films have been steadily rising over the last few years, with professionals and enthusiasts rediscovering the artistic control offered by manual processes and the creative satisfaction of a physical end product.” The new Ektachrome will be available in 35mm and is expected to hit stores later this year.
