Back in 1989, The D.O.C. was next up out of Dallas. He was in deep with Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and the rest of NWA. He had a solo album that was blowing up. But one tragic night all that came to a halt when he crashed his car and nearly lost everything. One thing of significance that he lost was his voice.
For years The D.O.C. couldn’t do the thing he loved most, making music because his vocal chords were severed. Nearly 30 years later, he has regained his voice and is telling his story.
In an epic interview on Sway In The Morning, The D.O.C. takes about the night of his accident, NWA, Death Row, Tupac and much more.
