The Brooklyn Nets Honor The Notorious B.I.G. On ‘Biggie Night’

It’s only right to celebrate a legend and that is exactly what they did in Brooklyn the other night. The hometown team, the Brooklyn Nets celebrated the legendary wordsmith with Biggie Night. The event found a night dedicated to the wordsmith which included the Bad Boy family and Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace.

Diddy gave a speech during halftime while the Nets retired a jersey in Biggie’s name with the number 72 representing the year he was born. Check out the raising of the banner in the clip below and speak your mind on it after the jump. “Spread love it’s the Brooklyn Way.”
