The Biggest Record Of 2016 Was Drake’s “One Dance”

When it comes to chart-topping and record breaking in music, Drake has become quite familiar with the process. Today he is back in the news, this time around as the word on the e-streets is that his single, “One Dance,” was the biggest record of 2016. This interesting accolade comes from the latest installment of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry’s annual Global Music Report.

The track, “One Dance,” was the first track to hit one billion streams on Spotify and was everyone from the radio to the club. Drake and his album, VIEWS, also got more recognition as it came in at the No. Three spot on the “Global Top Albums of 2016″ chart.
