TBT Interview: Get in the Game Artist Anderson Paak

Earlier in the week, we announced this year’s Soundset Festival that will include some of your favorite artists like Common, A$AP Rocky, Future, Danny Brown and The Roots – but it also features one of the hottest in the game, Anderson Paak.

We rewind things a little bit on this “Throwback Thursday” to highlight the California talent and thanks to Dr. Dre the world got a glimpse at his unique sound choosing to feature him on 6 of 15 tracks off ‘Compton‘. But before the Beats by Dre, Paak was on our radar and highlighted as a “Get in the Game” artist. A lot has changed for the better when you look at his current place in music versus 2014, only two years and much has improved. As Sway has done many times before highlighting up and coming artists such as Anderson, keep your eyes on SwaysUniverse as we continue to bring you the best talent first!

Enjoy the interview below and press play on a few of our favorite tracks afterwards. If you haven’t already grabbed his ‘Malibu‘ album, head over to iTunes ASAP.
