From two opposite coasts and walks of life, Inglewood native Skeme and Philly emcee Lil Uzi Vert join DJ Drama and the Sway In The Morning crew to reveal some exciting information.
Starting with Skeme we hear how at 16 he came across DJ Drama and the rest is history. With a slight mention of some ghost writing Sway opens up the flood gates as he inquires into some of the work Skeme has done with the pen. Through a series of questioning and an eventual cave we hear that Skeme was involved in writing Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” featuring Charlie XCX. Moving on to new music Skeme talks about “Ingleworld 2” and the sponsorship from DJ Drama and Gangsta Grillz after heading to Atlanta for two weeks and knocking out over 50 tracks.
With Lil Uzi Vert on the hot seat next we hear how the North Philly emcee and DJ Drama linked up at Wiz Khalifa’s Under The Influence tour as Drama took an immediate liking to Uzi. With an upcoming project releasing with Don Cannon we hear Lil Uzi Vert’s vision for the future and his work with Carnage, A$AP Ferg, Rich The Kid and more on “WDYW.”
