SU Spotlight: Alus Reassures that She's "Good Over Here"

This week on the SU Spotlight, we’re shedding our light on 21-year old musician, Alus. This quadruple threat from New Jersey plays the piano, guitar, writes her own songs and has sweet vocals.

Not only has she rocked stages like SXSW, but she’s performed on the legendary SOB’s stage, Madison Square Garden, as well as for Roc Nation’s Throne Boxing event. Alus continues to impress — following the release of her Jersey-club smash “Talk It” featuring Dougie F, she is quickly back today with a new song “Good Over Here”. This record channels Alus’ 90’s urban/pop influence, as she pays homage to TLC’s “No Scrubs”.

It seems as this young lady is continually standing up for woman everywhere. This cut is another one off of the upcoming Alus EP Alustrious II, which still has no release date to report.
