Our team has always taken a special interest in international hip-hop and more specifically how the culture has affected people worldwide. Africa is often at the center of the conversation as there is so much talent bubbling out of several countries with the continent and it has us excited. A lot of that excitement stems from pioneers like South Africa’s Stogie T. We have had artists like Kwesta and Nasty C who are at the top of their game in their regions, and they always refer to this man as one of the innovators.
He recently released a 10-track project called Honey and Pain and stopped by Sway In The Morning to talk about that and much more. He addressed the misunderstanding with fellow African emcee Casper Nyovest. He also spazzed on the mic as he represented thoroughly with a fire freestyle.
