Soul Singer Goapele Talks Turning Down Singing for Pres. Bush, Doing Reality TV, Oakland & Liking "No Flex Zone"


Soul and R&B singer, Goapele stopped by Sway in the Morning to promote her new single, “Hey Boy.” First, the blonde beauty spoke about recently running into Sway at a festival and how her hometown of Oakland may have something to do with her eclectic personality. The singer also talked about certain opportunities that she felt could hurt her career like not singing for President George W. Bush and joining the cast of “R&B Divas.”  Before, Goapele left she also requested her new favorite song “No Flex Zone” performed by Rae Sremmurd.
