After much confusion and obstacles, the Biopic of the late great Tupac Shakur is finally set to being production sometime before the year is out.

The film was originally set to begin production this past June but was put on hold when the original director, John Singleton, removed himself from the project due to disagreements with the production company.

Singleton was then replaced by a second director by the name of Carl Franklin who also walked away from the project after a month or so of being on board.

So now the film is in the hands of renowned director Benny Boom. Boom is known for his work in the music industry after producing many videos over the last 15 years. He also produced the 2009 file, Next Day Air.

The film has to being production before December 31st of all of Pac’s music rights are returned back to his mother and new contracts will have to be put in motion.

We really hope it all works out. HipHop fans are very anxious to see this all come together.
