Starring in the Oxygen show “Sisterhood Of Hip Hop,” Brianna Perry, Audra The Rapper and Lee Mazin all took time out of their busy tour schedule to stop by Sway in the Morning. Although it was not the first time on the show for Brianna and Lee, all three women introduce themselves and give the listeners a little background on their career.

With so many labeling women in the rap game as strictly ‘female rappers’ the girls open up about how they put in just as much work as any man and how they have to make the same sacrifices. Balancing a rap career with being on television is a tough task, not to mention still spending time with family. After Heather B speaks on sacrificing having children for keeping her career going, all three girls give instances of things they’ve had to give up as well as relationships that haven’t worked out.

But not everything is negative while grinding out in their career’s, with Brianna having worked with Queen Latifah and Lee linking up with MC Lyte, they speak on being able to work side by side with some of their idols growing up.

Ending things off with a bang the “Sisterhood Of Hip Hop” crew steps to the mic and delivers a dope cypher going a few rounds each. Check the full interview out above and keep up with all three women on social media @BRiANNAtheYRB@AudraTheRapper and @leemazin.
