Sheryl Swoops Calls In About Her Encounter With Michael Jordan, Transitioning From Playing To Coaching, + Being Inducted Into The Hall Of Fame

Sheryl Swoops is kind of a big deal…

In her twelve year WNBA season, she’s averaged 15 points, is a six time WNBA All-Star, a three time Olympic gold medalist, and is being inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame, which she describes as a very special time for her…and that’s just to name a few.

Currently, Sheryl is the head coach of the women’s basketball team at Loyola University in Chicago.  She says coaching is a lot different from playing because you have to understand time management and dealing with different personalities.  She’s also learning how to be patient, not only with her players, but with herself always wanting immediate satisfaction and gratification.

She also recalls a fun run-in with Michael Jordan while she was pregnant, which made her actually name her son Jordan.  Plus, does she have a deal with Nike for a possible Hall of Fame collaboration in the works?  Guess you’re going to have to listen to find out.  Check it out above.
