Schoolboy Q Shows Off His Creepy Alter Ego in His Visual For “Groovy Tony”

Yesterday (April 4), Tidal tweeted “look out for a new TDE release on TIDAL tonight…” and everyone started playing the guessing game.  Most people, including myself, assumed it was either a SZA or Schoolboy Q single.  After hours of waiting, Top Dawg (Anthony Tiffith) revealed it to be a new Schoolboy Q song called “Groovy Tony” and if that wasn’t enough, TDE decided to bless us with a video to go along with it.

The eerie visual shows Q as his alter ego No-Face Killah partially in first-person view.  No Face Killah, sporting his money and guns, is clearly not someone to be messed with.  The dark feel from Tae Beast’s production is best portrayed in this intense video.

No word yet on a release date for Q’s follow up to Oxymoron, but hopefully it’s coming soon.  Watch below.

In case you weren’t already familar with the beast that is Schoolboy Q, check out his 5 fingers of death freestyle on Sway in the Morning.
