Santos, Jay Watts and Lyric Jones Each Add Their Unique Style to the Friday Fire Cypher

The beauty of Sway in the Morning and the Friday Fire Cypher is the diversity it brings to the radio. Reaching across the world the talent that we see come through the show ranges in gender, ethnicity and sound. This past week for the Friday Fire Cypher we had three unique artists step to the mic to attack the beat with their own personal style.

Stepping up first was Santos who delivered straight bars over some classic hip-hop beats, name dropping Kendrick, Kanye, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, no MC is safe from his ferocious mentality. You can find him on Twitter @SantosLB4R.

Up next is Jay Watts whose Sway in the Morning interview from SXSW helped land him a record deal. Influenced by artists that span across different genre’s he stepped up to croon his way through the cypher adding hooks to beat picked out by DJ Wonder. You can find him on Twitter @ImJayWatts.

Last but not least is Lyric Jones, whose relatable raps ripped up the cypher. Paying homage to Sway for giving her the opportunity to come up for our Get In The Game segment she takes full advantage of her time on the mic delivering bars like a true hyena. You can find her on Twitter @LyricJones.

Check out the full cypher above and make sure to support these up and coming artists who put their hearts on their sleeve and leave everything on the mic.
