Salaam Remi has pulled together some of the biggest names in music for how new track ‘Is It Because I’m Black’, from the upcoming Black on Purpose project slated for August. The song is a reboot of a 50-year-old Syl Johnson classic.
The powerful record starts off with a message from the late Sandra Bland who mysteriously died in police custody 5 years ago. Watch below.
