Hailing from New York City’s lower east side, ReyLovesU is an R&B singer/songwriter and producer. His sound combines the soulful music of his upbringing with the urban sound of the city where he grew up singing on the streets for spare change. He just released his new single “Robbers” which features Juicy J, the founding member of the Southern hip hop and Grammy Award-winning group Three 6 Mafia. The collab came to life via an Instagram DM. Juicy J really liked the song and respected ReyLovesU’s music and things took off from there.
His first song to receive major attention was 2018’s “Apology To My Ex”, a romantic melodrama blended the singer’s soulful singing with a trap beat that would sound at home on any modern hip hop radio station. He further developed his style with his next big single “BestFriends?” In 2019. Together he has racked up well over 100K streams on Spotify alone. ReyLovesU continues to release refreshing and inspiring new music.
He recently shares his new song called “Robbers” which features Juicy J. One of ReyLovesU’s best friends recently got sent to prison, and as friends do – the pair talked long and hard about many things, including the friend’s concern about what his girlfriend would do when he was behind bars.
