Rapsody has Signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation

“Welcome to JamRoc,” an Instagram post from North Carolina emcee Rapsody read this past weekend marking the next chapter for both Roc Nation and an incredibly talented artist. Coming together for a joint venture with 9th Wonder’s Jamla label, the deal comes on the heels of big features on projects with Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak as well as 9th Wonder and Talib Kweli’s “Indy 500” as well as several solo projects over the past few years including “Beauty and The Beat” and “She Got Game.”

The deal was announced during Rapsody’s set at the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, coincidentally streamed exclusively on TIDAL. No news on whether Rapsody will reside on the artist or management roster but nevertheless her incredible career will only be going up from here.

Welcome to JamRoc. #Jamla #Rocnation
