PUMA Reveals The New Ukiyo-E Inspired “Marine” Pack

The good folks over at PUMA have been cooking up classic kicks for decades. Today they are back, keeping the tradition alive with some modern, striking and rather clean new classics. Today we get a look at PUMA’s new Ukiyo-E Inspired “Marine” Pack, a sleek and stylish pack that pays tribute to a national holiday in Japan; “Marine Day.” The holiday is held to celebrate the ocean, and the sneaker pack boasts some intriguing inspiration for the celebration.

Here we find three classics, the Disc Blaze, Easy Rider and Clyde silhouettes. Each one is outfitted with a bold and striking color scheme that is printed with a design reminiscent of some of Japan’s most iconic art. The pack is also accompanied by a collection of bomber jackets and tees that bring a similar graphic appeal. Check out the new pack in the images below and let us know your thoughts in the comments. Look for the pack to drop on July 13, from retailers including London’s FootPatrol.
