There is a war going on outside no rapper is safe from. The constant fight for supremacy between lyrical rappers and mumble rappers. On the front lines of that battle are two of Connecticut’s most prominent wordsmiths, Chris Webby and ANoyd who both have bars for days. The pair are coming off their own solo releases, ANoyd with his highly acclaimed #BlameItOnJayZ project. And Webby with the Raw Thoughts series which is making waves of its own.
Today the two link up to trade punchlines on Chris Webby’s song “2001” produced by JP on The Track. The song takes aim at their less lyrically inclined counterparts in the rap game, while paying homage to some of the greats that have ever touched a mic.
