Political News: Mike Muse Breaks Down the Laquan McDonald Shooting

Not only is the city of Chicago in an uproar, so are Black Lives Matter activists around the world. Officials had to release graphic dashcam video of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald getting shot 16 times while he was already down — and it took 13 months for any action to take place.

As of now, Officer Van Dyke had been ordered held without bail, and according to The Chicago Tribune, the case marks the first time a Chicago police officer has been charged with first-degree murder for an on-duty fatality in nearly 35 years. Van Dyke faces a minimum of 20 years in prison if convicted of first-degree murder.

Today, our very own Political Guru, Mike Muse stopped by and weighed in on the tragic situation, and filled us with knowledge.
