Sway and our own Political Analyst Mike Muse sat down to discuss a largely criticized decision by Speaker of the House John Boehner, who invited current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak to Congress without notifying the White House, a move never before seen.
Using the speech as an opportunity to air his grievances with Iran, although Israel remains a strategic ally within the Middle East the incident was rightfully taken as a slight by President Obama, who noted that the speech contained “nothing new.” The political manuever backfired for Boehner as well, as the major networks declined to even run the speech live.
Muse goes into details about how the mistress of former CIA Director and General David Petraeus ultimately led to him pleading guilty for sharing classified information. Also under fire is former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, after it was revealed that she used her private email to conduct official business while still in office, though she has since asked the State Department to reveal all communication.
