Soul-singing legend Patti LaBelle stopped by Sway In The Morning to talk about her new role in Star as Christine, Carlotta’s (Queen Latifah) ‘gangsta mom’. LaBelle will also play Maxine Patterson, a famous Christian motivational speaker and the CEO of a global Christian self-help empire in Greenleaf.
She talked about how she has remained relevant in her 70’s and what it means to continue to be recognized for her work.
