Then comes the wildcard—Daylyt—with not one but two tracks: “WRDMIMVA” and “Ayo.” The lyrical alien fans know him to be touches down and goes full Jedi on Joey with coded rhymes, and witty punches. Daylyt is unpredictable but is he rushing the process of responding and not also having a strategic plan of attack? The delivery now seems loud all over the place and most fans aren’t too happy!
THE FINALE: JOEY BADA$$ “MY TOWN” W/LOADED LUX” & “CRASH DUMMY”
Joey Bada$$ just lit the booth on fire with “My Town” w/loaded Lux following “Crash Dummy” and he’s not playing fair. Flipping Tupac’s iconic “Hit ‘Em Up” instrumental on Crash Dummy was a power move in itself—one of the most disrespectful diss records in rap history—and Joey pulled it off with calculated precision.
