in Shade 45 I love that Sway and the team here has agreed to take this initiative and
0:07
do mental health Mondays once a month here on the sway the morning show we've been doing it quite some time with a
0:15
licensed mental health therapist David Weber thank you so much Dave because you Faithfully make the trip up from Georgia
0:22
once a month once every other month depending on how the days fall and you make it up here to be a part of the team
0:28
to support the citizens to help the citizens I've citizens have reached out to me saying that they spoke to you off
0:35
air and so that just tells us and everybody that you're not just here talking you're actually doing the work
0:41
once you leave this show I appreciate that that's what I'm trying to do I'm trying to help you know what I mean that's that's why I'm here but that's my
0:47
purpose so that's why I'm here I love it man I love it thank you for all that you done freeway man my brother man MC of
0:56
MC's who we all just love and respect him for what he's been able to do on
1:03
record um and and and no pun intended but off the Record he's been able to do
1:08
incredible things as well absolutely when sway told us that freeway was talking to him and creating this
1:16
idea about coming up here to this show once a month to promote health and wellness I was like wow thank you thank
1:23
you God thank you most high thank you because we Shi away from this topic for
1:28
so long and in in our lives it it it hasn't made sense really this we should
1:35
have been talking about this the minute that loved one in your family that you were close to whether it was your auntie
1:41
or your uncle or your cousin passed away we should have started talking about mental health most definitely but
1:47
instead somebody told you stop being a crybaby suck it up ain't nothing wrong with you go in the room shut up don't be
1:54
a punk all these different things I actually remember the first time I I I kind of processed death it was a little
2:01
kid I used to walk to school with I was nine years old and he got hit by a car wow and he passed away wow and I just
2:09
noticed that I didn't see my friend anymore my friend wasn't around anymore I had a situation like that I was uh I
2:17
forget what grade it was in but it was like the beginning like probably like fourth or fifth grade and uh my mom
2:24
could afford to send me to to Disney World but she couldn't afford to come and it was another student that was like
2:29
that so shared the room together so we spent some time together and then when we came home like two weeks later it was
2:36
an accident and his mom and his uh brother and sisters was in the car on the highway and she got out the car but
2:42
the car got hit and they both got killed so I could I could I almost couldn't even sleep cuz I just was in a room
2:48
where it was just me and him for like a week so I'm like Dam you going to pop up on me in this joint or something you know when you little and you don't
2:55
really have an understanding of God and religion and everything what's going on it could really affect you it really
3:00
affected me I didn't understand anymore how somebody that young it was my friend we walked to school together let's say
3:06
maybe three times a week and he was just gone and I couldn't go to the funeral because my mom didn't agree with young
3:13
kids being that and I understand that you know but I never forgot that that was my first and I just missed my friend
3:19
yeah it I I didn't know where to put those feelings but you realize at that young age I might have needed therapy
3:27
you know um but instead I put those feelings to the side or found a place or you come up with Imaginary Friends
3:33
whatever we do to cope you know in life but I'm glad freeway all I have to say I'm glad that you have decided to do
3:39
this and we welcome you back to the show here with your segment um feeling healthier with freeway a road to a
3:45
better you um I noticed a call that was coming in earlier and then I was like
3:51
the mayor of Baltimore is calling but maybe this is the wrong show so I didn't want to be disrespectful I didn't hang
3:57
up but I didn't realize what was going on so thank God freeway came in to say that the mayor's going to be calling
4:03
thank you cara for keeping the mayor on hold Mayor Scott yeah I'm going to bring up the mayor right now mayor Brandon
4:09
Scott of Baltimore what's up mayor hey good morning what up what up what up everybody what up free what up my
4:15
brother my brother good morning how you feeling I'm good I'm good I'm good I'm good I I do want to chime in because I
4:21
was listening for a long time whoever that was that said New Kids on the Block y'all supposed to hang up on him
4:27
immediate oh wow okay we we were having let me give some let
4:34
me let me give a backstory so we were having a a debate about the most influential uh male group one you know
4:41
and I said new addition uh just for me and my generation I just felt like it was new addition and people started
4:47
calling up and somebody did say new kids in the block I can't name three New Kids on the Block songs but that's not my
4:54
generation so I got you mayor I see BL or the kid or the block or kid
5:00
that's but thank you for listening and chiming in what brings you here today listen I think that that that much
5:07
like uh uh I just saw my brother freeway last week as he performed at my inaugural a sneaker G but really for us
5:14
it's about uplifting this same topic right we know that opioid addiction is a real thing and here in Baltimore we know
5:22
you all know how much it has hit my city for some time and now for me being the
5:28
first mayor in 20 years is and btim going to be reelected it's an important thing for us congratulations work that
5:34
we're leading on thank you on opioid uh and addiction and healing is important
5:39
we we've been able to win $600 million plus in lawsuits against big farmer
5:46
companies who were pumping pills into our city which is critically important for our communities but what's going to
5:52
happen that's more important is that we set up an executive order we're going to have a group of folks including uh uh
5:59
those who were impacted and those who were using and people from public health
6:05
setting up an opioid Advisory board for me to talk about how we're going to use that money in our community to get
6:11
people the help they need to have the conversations that we need so that we can stop losing uh people the way that
6:18
we're losing them because I think as you said very very very eloquently this is a topic that our community avoids right we
6:25
talk about gun violence and why we're happy to have Baltimore now have its largest reduction in homicides last year
6:32
at 20% we're beating that at 24% often times this year often times
6:38
the deaths from overdose we know that's two and three times more and folks don't like to talk about that so we want to
6:44
uplift consistently the importance of that work as well to making sure that our communities are getting the healing
6:50
that they deserve and we're just so grateful to our brother freeway for always lifting it up and for the great
6:55
work that he does absolutely wow absolutely now for we have a lot of citizens uh from the Baltimore area that
7:02
listens to the show is there a direct way to follow you mayor on social media how to be a part of the community any
7:08
websites that they need to go to yeah so for me it's just mayor BM
7:13
Scott is all my social media Instagram everybody pretty much knows that's where you can get me and the website is mayor.
7:19
Baltimore city.gov or you can get all the information from me uh direct I love
7:25
it and for me you know Baltimore holds a special place in my heart at as I received my my kidney transplant at John
7:31
Hopkins so even before that it was a lot of synergy uh the doctor that actually helped me uh facilitate the kidney
7:39
transplant his name is Dory Sagi and he lives in Baltimore so you know I'm looking forward to you know building
7:44
with Mar Scott and bringing some of the uh Workforce certifications that we got going on in Philly and Delaware to the
7:50
city of Baltimore too so absolutely no there's a connection in and there A lot of times people well why not fil you
7:57
have to build where your blessings come from sometimes as well you know you just never know yeah it could be at home but
8:04
there was something that connected for you in Baltimore and so and we just did uh our third annual cancer ride um
8:12
October 27th all through the city of Baltimore uh shout out shout out to uh shut up let ride it's a three-wheel
8:18
Community We Roll all through the city we actually pulled up to John Hopkins and like some of the people came out
8:24
like the feeling was just amazing to be able to be there and like you know this I could possibly still be on the kidney
8:30
transplant waiting list right now if I didn't go to John Hopkins and do a special procedure where I received the
8:35
kidney with hepatitis C then they cured the Hepatitis C so wow a lot of love for Baltimore a lot of love and Maya listen
8:41
you're free to call up here any single time thank you for being a citizen thank you for listening to the show we
8:47
appreciate you and much love to the city of Baltimore thank you peace peace everybody peace love listen we have our
8:54
freeway here we have David Weber here and before you guys walked into the room we asked the citizens to call us up to
9:00
speak about the holidays um you know the holidays are here um it's a tough time
9:06
for some folks to cope a lot of times people don't want to be around family or not looking forward to being around
9:12
family um I I had a conversation with my aunt recently and I said you know um
9:17
when my dad was physically here he made us come to things we're grown now and he's no longer here we don't have to
9:23
come to family functions and you don't realize sometimes how you're not showing
9:29
up people not being it does something to the family structure it does something to the dynamic people we had a caller
9:35
call in today said she just lost her job you know people are C trying to deal with a lot of things on top of it being
9:41
a holiday so we wanted to have people call up we wanted to have you guys chime in on different ways to cope um and we
9:48
also keep in mind not everybody celebrates the holidays but if you could have some ways to help people you know
9:54
deal with the holidays the pressure of it all there's a new year coming up everybody wants to start over it's time
10:00
to out with the old and in with the new some people are trying to lose weight all the different things so can we have
10:06
the callers call up and and and talk with you guys most definitely all right uh 888 742 3345 we're going to come back
10:13
with some calls and uh freeway and David Weber are here Sway in the Morning Shade 45 Sway in the Morning Shade 45 you just
10:20
heard from freeway each and every month we do mental health Mondays here Sway in
10:26
the morning we're blessed to have freeway here with us doing feeling healthier with freeway road to a better you and David Weber man listen he's been
10:33
trooping it out with us for close to a year now man coming up here from Georgia once a month and helping the citizens
10:40
he's a licensed therapist a mental health therapist licensed so I reached out to the citizens we reached out to
10:46
the citizens to say listen we re recognize the holidays are here A new year is literally right around the
10:52
corner how are you coping like just just how are you coping with it what are you going through right now and uh David
10:58
Weber and freeway are here to help we're going to hear from both of them as you let us know what's going on we have Mary
11:04
on the line you guys she's calling in from Boston hey Mary how are you hey Mary hey Heather hey Tracy hey torge DB
11:13
the whole team freeway and um David Weber David Weber thank you yes um I'm
11:19
like a fourth time caller but anyways I am currently dealing with
11:25
um my fiance is incarcerated in Rhode Island and um I have a six-year-old daughter on
11:32
top of that so this holiday um is really stressful and then my mom um is a drug
11:40
addict I've given her an ultimatum um she's no longer allowed to see my daughter until she realizes she needs
11:48
help and it's been over a month I have not had no contact with her nothing um
11:54
yeah it's just a little stressful and then like hea be like I was always a daddy's girl and my dad D passed away
12:00
eight years ago right before Thanksgiving you know what I mean this year is a little tough that's crazy my
12:06
father on The Anniversary his transition is coming up he passed away on December 12th back in 2018 so yeah December is a
12:15
little crazy for me too so I I I Get It Mary I get it yeah I'm just I'm I'm just trying to
12:22
you know get through one day at a time I mean the fact that um my fiance is incarcerated in a whole different state
12:30
is the scary part like he's a black man and you know it's just I don't trust the
12:36
state of Rhode Island as it is even when we go up there to visit I just The Vibes are off and I feel a lot of racial
12:43
profiling and I don't know and it's just tough this year yeah let's try to get you some
12:50
help so David we I'm gonna start with you because you you heard Mary her fiance is locked up they have a child
12:57
together she has a mother who is dealing with some addiction and
13:02
obviously with the holidays and everything coming up what would you suggest Mary do um is how does she try
13:10
to cope with everything that's going on all at the same time and she hasn't heard from her mom in a month yeah
13:15
that's really tough the situation that you're in um encouraging yourself is going to be super important um
13:22
encouraging him and encouraging yourself if you're down then it's going to you know perhaps make him down as well so
13:28
encouraging him uplifting uplifting and what take in from to
13:36
whatever if it's not uplifting you turn it off because it's going to make you more depressed more sad and those types
13:41
of things so just make sure what you're consuming is good food uh emotionally mentally psychologically those types of
13:47
things free way that makes a lot of sense that that was some great advice um I would just say stay strong you know uh
13:55
and just realize your your circumstances and understand your circumstances when you go to prison you go to visit him
14:00
it's designed to make people uncomfortable like you know that's why they're there that's why they make it
14:06
hard in Philly we used to be able to go just you know on a day you could go see them now you have to get on this list
14:13
and a lot of times you can't even get on the list because it's already full so it's designed for you to be
14:18
uncomfortable but you understand your circumstances you know what you're dealing with that way you go into it like the brother said and uplift him
14:25
like try to give him good energy try to keep good energy yourself as far as your father passing away uh the anniversary
14:32
of my father passing away was just November 29th wow you know he passed away 2022 right in front of me in my
14:39
house you know and uh it's difficult like you know it's not easy to deal with
14:44
but just try to think of the good times and the good memories and you know the times that y'all had together you know
14:51
all the love that is sha doing you just think of those moments you know you able to get through yeah David
14:57
I want to get your take on this too cuz I thought about something freeway said about visiting in prison would you
15:03
recommend taking a child a young child to prison to visit whether it's a mother or father in incarcerated that's a great
15:10
question I used to work in prison doing therapy in male prison and female prison um I've seen it work for some people
15:17
right the child is mature enough to understand and I've seen other people it doesn't necessarily work so it's on
15:23
individual basis you know your child you know what they can handle if your child can handle it you believe that child can
15:28
handle it definitely encourages the person inside for sure they're definitely encouraged so I say more
15:34
often than not absolutely take them but have a conversation about what it is what's going on you don't have to explain everything but have a
15:40
conversation with them so they know what they're going into and what to expect okay Mar yeah my daughter she visits she
15:46
she knows what's going on and to an extent of a you know six-year-old mind but yeah she sees her dad thank you Mary
15:53
for your call and we hope here things get better you know and U your fiance is home so God bless you you're a listen s
15:59
the morning we have dard you guys on the line calling from Houston hey D what's up say good morning the freeway and uh
16:05
David Weber what's up dard morning good morning everybody good morning everybody
16:11
uh I don't know I try not to rehearse in my head what I want to say but and I'mma
16:17
try not to be too emotional let me pull over so I cry a
16:23
lot in my car I'm having a hard time I'm an addict first of all like my wife don't even
16:30

16:52

17:00
been working so along this journey I called Sway and it just was divine when
17:06
lony light answered the phone the first time I said boy Lon is the quietest person if Lon answer the phone is divine
17:13
it's about alignment I've been on that pad I've
17:18
been working I work my car Wass I said if I get that pound SW in the morning is on somebody outbid me because I didn't
17:27
have the credentials
17:32
a lot going on now it's holidays I don't even have a job I had to take my condo
17:37
money for my rent I got eviction like I just need a job like anybody in America
17:45
could give a somebody who tried a job this morning I'm coming okay dard let let us stop you
17:52
here because I want to try to get you some help as I mentioned earlier the phone lines are are jammed so I want to
17:57
try to get you some help help first because and I'll start with David Weber again because David as you listening to
18:03
this he is a self- admitted addict um he's dealing obviously with a lot of
18:08
emotion he said he's trying to find a job um the background checks which obviously we know they're gonna do some
18:15
information they ain't doing it they ain't giving you no job bro they ain't giving you job okay okay just just we
18:22
gonna try to get you some help though okay so just hold on one second how does someone like this and and he's still
18:28
dealing with addiction try to get on the right path is it go to a rehab first
18:33
like what what what is he do in a situation like this he tell his wife yeah first off your courage to come on
18:39

19:54
calling in from Syracuse hey Janice good morning thank you for calling in good morning everyone hello hey hello talk to
20:02
us Janet what's going on all right um HP um my dad passed and my mother both
20:08
passed my mom recently just passed we're coming up on a oneye anniversary this
20:13
January 8th of next year my dad passed January 1st of 2022 I'mma Be honest with
20:20
y'all it's every day I just wake up and thank God that my excuse me if I get
20:26
choked up because it is a struggle because I can I be honest for one second
20:33
like I lost my dad I called up there and miss miss you know he said a prayer for
20:39
my dad that was a highlight for him I remember like I miss my mom so damn much
20:47
like I it's like I feel I forget that my dad is gone and I feel so guilty about
20:53
that but I'm yo I'm so broken because I miss her so so
21:02
much it's okay Janet to let it out I don't know every day I just just try to
21:08
wake up I see my baby's faces my siblings and my husband but it's so hard
21:14
cuz and it's like yo every day I find myself looking more and more like her
21:21
from my hands to how like I'm like yo I am really my mother's daughter and it's
21:28
like when I took I took care of my parents my mother died in my house I was the last one to see her right I went
21:35
through hell and it all took nine weeks she passed on the eth her
21:43
birthday January 26 so the month of January I'm trying to get away like I'm
21:48
trying I just don't want to even be bothered but cuz January is so tough for
21:54
me I'm trying to change how my Outlook is of it but I can't do it right now
21:59
because I'm just I don't want to say I'm in a dark place but I just miss I miss her but I miss
22:06
both of them but I miss her so much yeah yeah I I feel exactly how you feel
22:14
like and and it's rough cuz like you know I lost my son my daughter and my
22:20
dad and like my daughter was like my best friend and I miss her so much and I
22:27
be feeling bad cuz I miss my son too and I love him but this the relationship that I have with my
22:34
daughter different just different but the only the only thing that get me
22:39
through I'm telling you like my relationship with God is the only thing like if I didn't have that I don't know
22:45
where I would be right now like you know like it's rough like I miss all the day
22:51
my dad died just passed y then his birthday just passed
22:56
October my my my my daughter my son died on the 23rd my daughter died on the 28th
23:02
of October so October is is crazy for me then November my dad died November 29th
23:10
so like that whole September is is messed up for me because I know it's
23:15
coming then October is like wow yep then November is like [Â __Â ] don't forget like
23:20
you know so it's rough but I'm telling you like that relationship with God is the only thing that get me through like
23:25
you know so we in this together we got to stay strong you GNA have days where
23:30
it's overwhelming like I have days I don't even want to talk to nobody right
23:36
but I you know we got to try our best to push through and get through these times
23:41
and like you say you you you look at yourself and you see your mom is beautiful I look at myself and I see my
23:47
dad all the time and he used to say it to me he had dementia and he used to see
23:53
he used to look at me and say that's me like you know
23:59
we in this together that's why I'm trying I'm pulling all my nieces and nephews and I'm having Christmas Eve at
24:05
my house yeah like I'm just doing everything to just keep us off cuz I know it's tough like my mom was both of
24:13
them but my my parents had divorce but when they became best friends in life later in life I've even though like
24:20
Tracy G like your energy like when I listen I'm 37 years old and I'm like yo
24:27
a lot of times I have to back to myself and I be like yo what would Tracy say like how would she feel I really
24:35
like their energy is so different and I just like I really like
24:41
Sway in the Morning y'all are really family like I listen to you guys every day and it's
24:47
like even though I don't call all the time it's like just just listening is it's like being there with you all and
24:54
it's been a lot of days when I'm driving cuz I drive for work and I'm about to break and somebody will call and I'm
24:59
like rather it's funny or I feel it too but it it takes me out of what I got
25:05
going through so I thank you all for that Janice I want to let I want to let um David Weber uh speak to you as well
25:13
because I I understand I I know what it's like my parents were divorced as well and they ended up you know
25:20
obviously because they had kids together and when you have kids with someone you run the risk of having grandchildren one
25:26
day so even though they were long divorced they ended up up being friends later on in their divorce and talking
25:31
all the time as well and then they ended up passing 18 months apart my mom was 62
25:36
my dad was 65 I lost my parents at a very young age they were young and um I
25:42
A lot of times you wake up and like how is this even fair like God peace out to
25:47
talk to me what's going on but to freeway's point if it were not for my relationship with God I would be
25:53
somewhere really really lost and and and and I reside in the peace that God knows
25:59
all and he does what's best and that that's the piece that I live in but I'm not the expert here you know I I I Shar
26:05
in that experience with you not having both of my physical parents here as well but David Weber what would you offer um
26:13
W first of all thank you again for your sharing your story there are a lot of people going through exactly what you're
26:18
going through thank you for sharing your story too um first off grief doesn't have an end date right there's no like
26:25
it's going to end in three years or 8 years or 12 years Years you'll have moments where you feel decent you'll
26:31
have moments where you feel awful right there's no end date um and whoever said Time Heals all wounds lied right does
26:37
that's not how it works um there's no right or way right or wrong way to grieve however you grieve is how you
26:42
grieve some people grieve by themselves some people grieve with other people some people are make jokes and are
26:47
laughing and those types of things that help with their grief um so everyone's different so however you grieve is how
26:53
you grieve um lastly watch out for for your coping mechanisms right sometimes we go to the things that help us cope
26:59
that aren't helpful right if alcohol isn't helpful for you and it makes you more depressed and More Sad watch your
27:05
drink in this holiday um if if if doing drugs or whatever it may be whatever it may be makes you feel worse watch that
27:13
this this holiday especially and lastly I'll say this it's okay to set boundaries around what events you you
27:19
you you want to go to and don't want to go to if you don't want to go to Christmas or whatever it may be that's okay right everyone's grown for the most
27:26
part like we we understand like people are going through stuff I don't have to show up to Christmas this year if I'm not if I'm not feeling like it right I
27:32
may want to geve by myself so if you want to geve by yourself that's okay to all you listeners out there man um
27:38
praying for all don't let nobody make you feel guilty about how you want to grief fact for facts so Janice we we I
27:45
remember the day em and Smith uh your father was a Cowboys fan I I remember
27:50
very clearly so you have family in us and and keep us posted um please do and
27:56
reach out to us on social media is DM us and um I'm with you I'm wrapping my arms around you and hugging you right now
28:03
because I I understand and and you know I wish I didn't understand but I understand sent pictures to both of you
28:10
I believe I have sent photos to you um under the leetes of my dad especially his for coat
28:17
yep yeah but um I thank you all I'm sorry Heather be I didn't mean to cut no
28:22
no no no no this this is about you you didn't cut me off it's it's all good try try as much as you can to remember the
28:28
good and and smile about your parents um they left a lot in you and I can tell just by the fact that you're trying to
28:34
gather your family together to be that that person you know that everybody comes to see so much love to you Janice
28:40
keep us posted C Janice of sway in the morning I got to take Jay's call because he literally has been holding on the
28:47
long as Jay's just recovering from a surgery so um talk to us Jay you're in North Carolina hey
28:53
Jay hey hey what's up family I love you know I love you y familiar hey first of all I want to say um Big Ups and
29:00
blessings to um everybody on on on the radio right now and um my choice was New Edition because I'm originally from
29:06
Boston HP so I grew I grew I grew I grew up with them boys but anyways and um so anyway I'm recovering
29:14
from my spinal fusion surgery as I called him a few times when shant T was up there and um it's just a struggle
29:21
because you don't take advantage of everything that you used to do doing and struggle with it like as as far as me
29:26
brushing my teeth getting dressed it's you know it's it's coming up on a year February 28th since my surgery and
29:33
I just it's sometimes it's it's depressing you know and because my struggle of of just using my arms and my
29:39
range of motion I get a little emotional about it but how I deal with it most times is I talk about it a lot and when
29:45
people has used to seeing me I lost like 40 pounds you know um but my weight
29:50
starting to come back and um I I just I just I deal with it cuz my my cousin he's in Boston and he can't hardly he
29:57
can't even walk now he's been rehab for over a year and a half now so I see people that's in a worse situation than
30:03
me and that kind of helps me deal with it mentally but I tell you it's it's it's such a struggle dealing with this
30:09
mentally but you know I I use motivation from other people their energy and stuff in their situations that help me deal
30:15
with mine and I and I'm dealing with holidays my mom I pass my mom passed in 2020 due to co and it's a hard time time
30:23
of year for me and my sisters and my brother you know dealing with it so I got lot on my shoulders right now and
30:29
it's just it's just it's just tough mentally freeway what would you offer let let me let freeway give you some
30:36
words as he's been so open with us talking about his surgeries and everything that he's had to deal with
30:42
and and and we don't even know what months how many months you had to go back and forth you spoke about being in Baltimore what would you say to Jay
30:48
peace Jay how hopefully you feeling good today man uh first and foremost you know we got to recognize our blessings you
30:56
know the the the fact that you was able to get the surgery and and you on the other side of it is a blessing you know
31:03
um right I know it's difficult uh I I received the kidney transplant and after receiving the kidney transplant I have
31:09
to take medicine for the rest of my life they gave me a book bag full of medicine that I got to take for the rest of my life one time I went to Vegas and forgot
31:17
my medicine and it was like World War III like you know it was hectic like you know uh people don't even realize like
31:23
you know the things that we go through like on a daily basis you know so uh you just got to try your best to stay strong
31:30
you know surround yourself with people that's uh that got your best interest and like you said that's something
31:36
something that you said is something that I always do whenever not even just my health Journey but life period
31:42
whenever I'm down or I I I feel bad about my C my situations and my circumstances I look at people that's
31:48
that's doing worse than me it's always somebody doing a little worse than you you know right so I say that all the
31:54
time man I appreciate them words encouragement man I try my best to look the glass like his half full as much as
31:59
I can throughout my life in every every circumstance David I I agree with him
32:05
wholeheartly that's practicing gratitude yeah that's uh that's that's that's really important so thank you for
32:10
sharing your story though we appreciate that man J we love you appreciate Y no we love you man yes go ahead I I I want
32:18
I was trying to call you and Tracy and sing sing to y'all again this year because I out of all the people y'all know I never hear anyone call in and
32:24
sing Happy Birthday to y'all so that's why I try to call every year but this year I got I got put on hold too long
32:29
and it changed the segment but happy belated birthday my birthday's on the 20th of this month and oh happy I I'll
32:36
get my Double Nickel so I'm G call in yeah you listen yeah we we celebrated all November Tracy G and I we had a good
32:43
time so thank you for everybody who called in in November to share our birthdays with us thank you maybe Jay
32:49
could sing something else for us sing it if you got the voice on you oh I
32:54
definitely got the voice what you want me to send you want me to send your happy birthday and afterwards belated
32:59
happy holidays yeah saying happy sing a little Christmas to hang on the mle toe
33:06
I'm GNA get to know you better this
33:12
Christmas and as we trim the tree how much fun it's going to be
33:19
together this Christmas wow you know
33:24
what happy holidays you you did right I'm so glad you didn't butcher that song
33:30
man that that's a good one Jay much love to you God bless you're a citizen love
33:35
too man I talk to Y always listen um Michael Chris Fernando Cordell Jeff um
33:43
we had a lot of calls we just couldn't get to everybody this is a live show but if you can no matter what you're dealing
33:50
with right now find a way to allow God to use you find a way just you know
33:57
maybe to to David's point and the freeway's point be a blessing even in
34:02
your burden be a blessing to somebody because it your blessing could just be picking up the phone and listening to
34:08
somebody else who may be going through something and because of your experience you know you can help them like I said
34:14
my me losing my parents and y'all were here you know when I was going through this that that burden what it felt like
34:21
is now a blessing cuz I can help other people who who who have lost parents losing their parents and just sit and
34:28
listen it ain't my words I A lot of times I just sit and listen to them because they need to vent they need to
34:34
talk to they need to get it out they need to talk about that guilt that freeway spoke about they need to talk
34:39
about those memories and and that love that David spoke about so sometimes I just listen right you know and and I
34:46
understand the both sides of it the grief the mourning the the guilt the not wanting to be bothered you go through
34:52
all of it and to David's point there is no time some days I'm feeling happy and I can laugh and think about my mother
34:58
and father and crack up and other days it's like phone is off don't want to
35:04
talk to nobody life feels unfair right if I'm being honest you know so find a
35:09
way to allow God to use you if you can during you know sometimes your darkest moments or most down moments and uh you
35:15
never know how you could be a blessing to somebody Michael Chris Fernando and Cordell and Jeff reach out to freeway
