Omar Epps has built a legendary career for himself starring in classics like Juice, The Wood, In Too Deep and Love & Basketball. He then transitioned to TV on shows like ER and Shooter. And he has earned several awards for it. Everything from NAACP Image Awards to a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Now he teams up with Clarence A. Haynes to write an epic fantasy tale of three teens who are learning about their newfound powers. The book is called Nubia The Awakening, and Epps stopped by Sway In The Morning to talk about how the book came to life.
