NYC Natives Talib Kweli & Styles P Pair Up For “Last Ones”

Bringing together two legendary wordsmiths such as Talib Kweli and Styles P is never a bad result. Today the two New York City natives are back, this time around with a brand new track called “Last Ones.” The track finds the fellas giving us a dose of their upcoming joint album, The Seven, and they don’t fall short in the process. The new cut, “Last Ones” is pushed by some snappy drum work and some infectious melodic elements that makes quite the home for the two to do their thing.

Speaking on the new project, Talib stated “As hip-hop grows to the point where many rappers have become caricatures of themselves, myself and Styles P remain a part of a group of MCs that still consider the culture in every decision we make” adding “[We are] the last ones left.” Check out the new track in the stream below an dspeak your thoughts on it after the jump. Stay tuned for much more from Talib Kweli and Styles P coming very soon!
