Nelly’s “Country Grammar” Album Goes Certified Diamond 16 Years After Its Debut

Nelly has another RIAA certificate to add to his stash after his major label debut from 2000, “Country Grammar” was awarded Certified Diamond on Monday. Reaching 9 million units sold in 2004 the album made the jump to 10 million following the addition of streaming units was added to the RIAA certification standards.

With features from Lil Wayne and Murphey Lee, the album also features interludes narrated by Cedric The Entertainer. Check out the St. Louis native’s latest trip to Sway in the Morning below and take a stroll down memory lane with the videos of the title track as well as “Ride Wit Me.”
