Montreal’s Very Own Wasiu Drops Off “MTLien”

The Montreal native wordsmith, Wasiu has been making quite a name for himself over the years. Today the wordsmith is back with a brand new track for our listening enjoyment, this time unleashing a new single called “MTLien.” The new track was inspired by Outkast and finds the wordsmith again showing and proving quite well. He spoke about the upcoming project, MTLien, stating “Basically this record is me explaining why I relate to Outkast’s ATLiens album so much.”

He went further and said “Being Half Nigerian, Half Haitian, neither community really accepted me because I’m only half. My mother’s a Christian while my father’s Muslim. Both sides kept telling me the other side is wrong, yet I’ve learned about both.” Have a listen to the new single in the stream below and let us know what you think in the comments.
