Miss Erykah Badu Will Be Hosting the 2015 Soul Train Music Awards

The R&B soulstress, activist, and producer has announced that she will be hosting the 2015 Soul Train Awards.  The news comes from BET’s Instagram page:

The ceremony will be taped November 6 in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.  This year, they will be honoring Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds with the Legend Award and Jill Scott, who will be accepting the first Lady of Soul Award.  However, this isn’t Badu’s first hosting job on the Soul Train Awards.  In 1998, she co-hosted with Patti Labelle and Heavy D, so she should feel a little at ease.  Make sure you tune in November 29 at 8 pm EST on Centric and BET.
