Mike Mosley Speaks on Working with Bay Area Legends, Being in the Studio While Tupac Recorded “Hit ‘Em Up” + New Company Get Rich Wireless

If Sway says you’re a Bay area legend then you’re certainly a Bay area legend. Sticking around for a full interview after gifting us beats for our Friday Fire Cypher, Mike Mosley speaks on how he started making music in Northern California.

Hailing from Fairfield which is described as a suburb of the Bay, Mosley opens up about first meeting E40 and how they began creating music together. Talking through the whole scene in California back in the day, Mosley and Sway speak on legends from Keak Da Sneak, Rick Rock and Celly Cel.

Meeting Tupac through the Jack The Rapper convention, Mosley reveals all the tracks he produced for the late rapper. From “Can You Get Away” to “We Ain’t Hard 2¬†Find” to “Good Life,” Mosley reveals he recorded with Pac the same night he recorded “Hit ‘Em Up.” Speaking on Pac’s demeanor while recording he remembers laughter and not hatred as he wrote the track on the spot.

Ending the interview talking about his new company Get Rich Wireless, Mosley opens up about how the music industry is being run by tech people who control the rights and ways music is streamed and delivered. His new company hopes to help with that by selling phones that are pre-loaded with music and content. Check out the full interview above and head to GetRichWireless.com for more information.
