We first met Nick Grant in Atlanta during our live broadcast during the BET Hip Hop Awards, and were blown away by Grant’s bars.
Fast forward to today, we’ve been continuing to hear his name, so it was only right we invited him to our Sway in the Morning studios for an in-depth interview.
While in-studio we learned some gems about how he maintains his humility and integrity, while balancing the hunger to rap and make a difference. And before we let him do his thing with a live freestyle, we had him break down some lyrics and rap them live.

This dude is just nice. Lyrically he can join the top easily. Just hope that his ear for music is just as great as those of J cole’s. There is a lot of lyrical people that just don’t make great songs. His potential is tooooooo serious tho. I’m glad I heard this, now I have to get people to know who he is like I did for Cole!
