Lil Wayne Refuses To Be Stopped, Announces "The Free Weezy Album"

“Sorry for the wait, until the wait is over” those words echoed throughout the music world as the release of the Carter V continued to get pushed back, forcing Wayne to drop Sorry For The Wait 2. Unfortunately, that wait may not be over just yet. But, there is a silver lining midst the Cash Money/Young Money camp troubles for fans of Weezy. Last night via Twitter, he announced plans for what he calls “The Free Weezy Album”. One of the best rappers of his time and self-proclaimed “Best Rapper Alive” got to that level by solely focusing on two things and two things only – rapping better and more often than anyone else. We reached a stage years ago, where every song/remix on the radio had a Wayne feature while he was dropping mixtape after mixtape practically making every popular song his. It didn’t matter if it was an official remix or one of his own. The point is, that is the only thing he has ever truly cared about – being creative and making music. So, it should come as no surprise that he is choosing to flood us with new music once again while we wait on what could be his last album, the Carter V. You cannot limit a creative mind and Lil Wayne is proving that right now. Welcome to Free Weezy season.
