Yesterday the XXL Freshman class of 2016 was revealed and standing right in the middle rocking a $500 Versace bathrobe is Sway in the Morning citizen Lil Dicky. Rubbing shoulders with fellow classmates Lil Yachty, Dave East, Desiigner, Anderson .Paak, Denzel Curry, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, G Herbo and Kodak Black, LD hops on the line with Tracy G to speak on the significance of being names to the 2016 freshman class.
Telling Tracy that being named to the cover by XXL shines a light on taking him more seriously he speaks on seeing previous years covers and watching those artists get bigger over time. When asked about who he bonded with the most Dicky opens up about his love of Anderson .Paak’s work and Desiigner’s energy. Breaking out a little known fact he fills us in that he attended Richmond with Dave East for a year so catching up with him took him down memory lane.
