Lebron James Signs Production Deal with Warner Bros. to Develop Movies and TV Shows

Lebron James has been one of the most recognized figures in sports since high school, his personal brand has reflected such as he continues to grow both on the court and off the court. While we all remember the highly criticized “Decision” to take his talents to South Beach, it seems like that entire presentation was just a sign of things to come for the kid from Akron – in a great way.

Maybe that entire hour long special was him letting us know that he had a secret passion for film. Fast forward to 2014, he becomes the Executive Producer of ‘Survivor’s Remorse’ on Starz and ‘Becoming’ which aired on Disney XD. Less than a year later, he gets his first on camera role in ‘Trainwreck’ starring the hilarious Amy Schumer (whose #SwayintheMorning interview was hilarious, check it out below) which hit theaters July 17th. Not even a week later, he and his long time friend/business partner Maverick Carter of SpringHill Entertainment sign a deal with Warner Bros. giving them an opportunity to develop movies and TV shows. The progression towards film since “The Decision” is very well aligned, leading us to believe he already has plans in the works for what’s next. Space Jam 2 perhaps?
