Today the word comes down that Kevin Durant has resigned with the Golden State Warriors, doing so for a lot less money. The news comes down that Durant will agree to a two-year deal worth $53 million USD with a player option in the second year, keeping the core group together while taking a bit of a pain cut in the process.

He took nearly a $9 million USD pay cut, which leaves the door open for the Warriors to sign and resign key pieces to the puzzle. This again shows off his openness and his ability to share the floor.
