Kendrick Lamar's New Video for "Alright" is Full of Surprises

Seamlessly flowing from his dark, introspective track “U,” Kendrick Lamar’s song “Alright” feeds into “To Pimp A Butterfly” beautifully.  After knocking his BET performance of the track out of the park Sunday (June 28) night, Kendrick once again allows the energy and passion of “U” to feed into the high-energy of “Alright.”

With hints of “Cartoons and Cereal” sprinkled into the intro, the video for “Alright” serves as a breeding ground for innovation and surprises.  From mobbing out with his TDE brethren in a car carried by police officers to standing on top of traffic lights in Downtown LA, Kendrick has brought out all the bells and whistles for the Colin Tilley directed video.

Watch the video below along with Kendrick’s exclusive Sway in the Morning freestyle.
