Kendrick Lamar’s ‘DAMN.’ Returns To The Top Of The Billboard 200

Another week, another week at number one for Kendrick Lamar. Today the word comes down that Kendrick Lamar’s ‘DAMN.’ Returns To The Top Of The Billboard 200. The wordsmith dropped his latest opus back in April when it shot immediately to the top of the charts. Since then the album has gone on to receive double platinum status and sat comfortably at the top of the Billboard 200 albums charts for three weeks in, a row.

Well, now the project has moved back into number one, reclaiming the throne after JAY-Z took things over with his 4:44 project. This marks the fourth week that DAMN. sits at number one. Billboard stated: “the album is the week’s most-streamed title on the Billboard 200, with 46.2 million on-demand audio streams generated by its songs.” DAMN. finished first with sales of 47,000 copies total, with 11,000 coming from traditional album sales.
